I'm Back! I can't believe that it has been soooo long since I last posted!

My Beautiful Daughter.....We had so much fun taking these photos! I love when my own children cooperate for a photo shoot! They sometimes have to be bribed b/c I take soooo many photos of them, but not on this day!!! Yeah!!!

BIG BLUES

I had the wonderful opportunity of seeing my nephew, Emmett, two times in the same month! We live 4 hrs. apart, so this was a real treat for me! My girls can't get enough of him! He is such a sweet 10 month old. He has the most mesmerizing blue eyes ever!

It's Been Sooooo Long!

Hello friends! I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted! Sorry!
As a way of apologizing for being soooo far behind, I am offering a special discount to the first three clients who call to set up an outdoor spring session! I will begin these in late March/early April. Be one of the first 3 clients to call, and the session fee is FREE...yes, that's right, a Free session fee! I am so tired of this crummy weather in Ohio and am sooooo looking forward to Spring!
Thank God that my hubby and I are off to California to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary or else I think I might hibernate for the rest of the winter! I am pretty much over being cold ALL of the time! One good thing about winters in Ohio....building snowmen! I love them!

Soon it will be Christmas photo time!!

Just a reminder to those that still want outdoor Fall photos.....there is still time!! I know of many places around the area that is still beautiful for Fall photos.....all of the leaves haven't fallen quite yet. So, be sure to call soon to set up an appt. I still have a few slots open. Also, Christmas photos are just around the corner. We will be doing photos in our new log home this year. I am taking a limited number of appts. (approx. 15) ......so call soon. I'm super excited to use our new home for some authentic Christmas photos....there will be no fake backdrops here! A huge live tree with a roaring fire will make for wonderful photos. We did Christmas photos in our old log home in Stone Creek and it was simply MERRY!!!!!!!! I can't wait! I love Christmas time!!!!! :)

Busy! Busy! Busy!

Wow! I had so much fun photographing seniors last week! Usually the senior guys are soooooo nervous, but all of the guys last week were so relaxed and it kind of even seemed like they enjoyed having their photos taken! :) All of the girls were simply gorgeous! I've been working on editing the photos, and hope to have them up by this weekend before leaving to go out of town. Another beautiful family! Little "K" has such bright blue eyes and is in love with Cheerios! :) He wanted to eat cheerios the entire time during our photo shoot. It was so darn cute.... in between eating cheerios we still managed to catch some really good photos. I love the photos of the entire family and my favorite shot of the session is the one with little "K" holding Daddy's hand while Mommy is looking at her big guy and little guy.

I had an awesome time photographing these 3 adorable kiddos. We had a shoot in downtown Medina...such a great place for photos! The little boy is so cute with all of his expressions, and his two older sisters are beautiful! The bright summer flowers made a perfect background!

I had a great time photographing these four kids....I have photographed the youngest boy 2 times in the past and he is such a handsome little fella! This time I had the wonderful opportunity to meet his little sister and 2 cousins for another photo shoot...a great family who traveled all the way from Strasburg (the area that I moved from) to Medina. Thanks for keeping in touch Robyn..I hope to continue to be able to photograph your beautiful children!

Last Week's Winner

I'm a bit behind in posting this, but wanted to congratulate Miss "M" from Dover for winning the 50% off session fee from last week. I photographed Miss "M's"cousin a few years ago, and now I get the opportunity to photograph her...If she is anything like her cousin we will have a great time! Looking forward to capturing some unique senior photos!

I can smell it in the air.....the cozy crisp smell of Fall. A perfect time for bright, vivid photos! There is only about a week and a half, maybe two weeks tops for prime color in October. In Stone Creek, which is where I moved from, the best time for photos was from October 10 ish to the 23rd ish....Not sure about Medina, and I know it all depends on the weather, but I will try my best to schedule as many appointments as I can. The slots are already being filled, so be sure to call me ASAP.

Whew! What a week it has been.....a week that I soon want to forget! I had bronchitis all week long....well, I am hoping with two rounds of antibiotics that I should start to feel better soon. Anyways, I want to apologize to all of my clients for being so behind in posting your photos on my blog. I am so eager to show all of you some really cute kids and to let you know about a special that I will be having for Fall photos, which will begin just around the corner....can you believe that it is almost that time of year again??? Until then, wish me much luck in finding time to rest....building a new home, running a photography business, tending to everyday chores, and beginning a new school year has put our family through a whirlwind lately. We are soooooo looking forward to moving into our new home and getting back to a normal life! Well, I'm not so sure I should call it normal, but you know what I mean! :)

Sisterly Lovin'

Big 'K' and lil' 'K' are best friends....well, almost all of the time. Summer break is winding down, and they will be off to school soon. I can't believe lil' 'K' will be starting Kindergarten and Big 'K' will be going into 3rd grade! Wow....how time flies when you're havin' fun!

Lil' 'E' makes his first photo appearance!

How exciting it was to photograph my new nephew this past weekend! He is a true gift from God. My brother and sister-in-law make such great parents. It has been just a day since we left from our visit, and I can still smell that sweet baby smell and hear those little coos. Big 'K' and little 'K' fell in love with him, and really helped out like little mommies. We are really looking forward to seeing them again in 3 weeks.
